Following the completion of the data centres project last year and specifically the decommissioning of the data centre in our Banbury Road offices, works can begin to refurbish the released space into much-needed offices.
Plans include new office space, meeting rooms, new windows, changes to the courses welcome area and refurbishing the toilets in the Thames Suite. Work will begin in January and is expected to continue until the summer.
Our teaching rooms will not be directly affected, but for the duration of the works there will inevitably be some noise and disruption. We intend to keep our programme of workshops and events running and we will work with the contractors to minimise the inconvenience to our visitors. However, there will be periodic access restrictions through to the Thames Suite and parking restrictions around the building.
We are looking forward to the improvements in our office environment, and to welcoming colleagues currently occupying offices in the Gibson Building to Banbury Road. We hope you’ll be patient with us during this period of disruption.
