Access to face-to-face, online and e-learning training courses via the CoSy system
28 October 2019
Are you developing training courses for staff? Rather than yet another classroom-based event, give e-learning a thought. Face-to-face teaching has its place, but if it is properly designed, e-learning can be very effective and engaging.
In August this year, a number of existing online courses moved to CoSy – the University’s training and management booking system. Around 1500 members of staff have already taken at least one of the five courses:
Challenging behaviour: Dealing with bullying and harassment in the workplace
Equality and diversity briefing
Implicit bias in the workplace
Information security and data privacy awareness
Recruitment and selection
CoSy is currently in use by more than a dozen training providers around the University and is also being used to deliver e-learning courses for projects such as the Overall Marks and Ranking project. Managed by the IT Learning Centre (ITLC), the system tracks progress through a course and on successful completion, emails a certificate to the delegate. Delegates also have a record of their courses in the CoSy user portal.
If you want to find out more about the CoSy system, or you have an existing e-learning course that you would like to host in CoSy, contact us by email cosy-support@it.ox.ac.uk. Our Instructional Design team can also be commissioned to create e-learning opportunities for your staff. Get in touch to find out more!
