The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) invites staff to attend the next meeting of the Digital Education Technologies (DET) User Group.
What is the DET User Group?
The DET User Group explores the use of digital tools to support flexible and inclusive teaching and learning at Oxford, and is facilitated and administered by the CTL, but is user-led and focussed.
Meetings provide a chance for staff to hear about new developments and upcoming improvements in digital technologies at Oxford, as well as join small group discussions to ask questions and seek advice from digital technology experts.
All staff are welcome to attend.
When is the next meeting?
The next meeting of the DET User Group will be held online through Teams on Wednesday 8 December, 10am–11.30am.
View agenda, including list of topics for small group discussion.
How can you register?
You can register to attend by completing this short form. Once you complete the form, you will receive a confirmation message with joining link. Please add the meeting to your calendar.
What would you like included in the meeting?
The CTL wants activities of the DET User Group to address staff needs.
The role of the CTL at these meetings is to facilitate discussions, as well as share information about development roadmaps and new improvements.
At this next meeting, they will provide the usual updates on the four main digital tools used at Oxford – Canvas, Nexus365, Panopto and ORLO. But they also want to make sure they include what staff would like to hear about and discuss, so they need to hear from you.
What would you like included? This is an opportunity for you to ask questions, share your experiences, and seek advice from your peers and digital technology experts. Please share your thoughts when you complete the registration form, or by posting in the DET User Group Team meeting room channel. If you are not a member of the DET User Group Team as yet, please sign-up here.
