Helping Oxford turn ideas into projects

Do you need to gather new ideas and prioritise the best solutions for your project, or find new allies or sponsors for your research? Or perhaps you are interested in discovering the best ideas from your students? No idea where to start? The Digital Innovation Team in IT Services is here to help.

Turning ideas into projects

We run a free service called Oxford Ideas. Oxford Ideas is a user-friendly ideas-management platform designed to help you gather ideas, communicate them in real time, and turn ideas into real-life projects.

If you are working on a project that needs input from across the University, talk to us about setting up a campaign.

Who is the platform for?

Any member of Oxford University can use this service. You could be working with your department on a new strategy post-Covid, or perhaps you work in a museum and need to find new ways of engaging with the public - the sky is the limit.

Since its inception, Oxford Ideas has been used for lots of things across the University. For example, the Centre for Teaching and Learning is currently using the platform to collect new ideas for a consultation exercise as part of the Digital Education Strategy Review.

How much does it cost?

Our service is available to all members of Oxford University free of charge.
