From July 2022, WebLearn will be closed for general use and the service will be withdrawn at the beginning of 2023.
As part of the ongoing decommissioning of WebLearn, the following facilities will no longer be possible from 19 April 2022. Creation of new:
- Assignments
- Gradebook items
- Forums
- Calendar entries
- Sign up events
The following features were withdrawn in January 2022:
- Creation of polls, chat sessions, email lists and syllabus
- Sending email messages from WebLearn using the Messages tool
- Using news feeds (RSS) in WebLearn
Canvas should be suitable for most teaching and learning activities, but please visit the WebLearn Overview page to find other suggested alternatives to WebLearn for these activities.
