Does your research paper or departmental web site need eye-catching images?
This workshop will introduce you to the general principles and techniques for working with digital images. We will be using Adobe Photoshop, although other software applications such as GIMP will be discussed to help you select the most appropriate for your needs.
You will be introduced to a model workflow for image manipulation and correction, preparing images for documents and presentations and for optimising images for the web.
You can work on your own digital images so please bring along the necessary resources if you wish to do so.
