At the second of this term's Digital Futures at Oxford thought leadership sessions we hear from Microsoft's James Cooke and Alex Karim who share Microsoft's views on the student lifecycle and mixed reality in education.
Microsoft's James Cooke explains ways that the Office 365 platform can support the different stages of the student lifecycle, with a focus on the early stages or recruitment and admission of students into universities. He also showed how Microsoft is supporting student wellbeing and trying to respond to modern ways that students are engaging with universities. Alex Karim then discusses the challenges and opportunities for immersive technologies in education and provides an overview of MS Mesh and Hololens, explaining how they could be used to support education in the future.
For those unable to attend the session, a recording of Microsoft's talk is available for you to watch (requires SSO). You can find information about this series and future events on our innovation page, or the IT news and events page.
