The PMO Manager will manage the Portfolio team in their role to support programme and project managers in achieving successful programme and project delivery. This will be achieved through:
- ensuring that the IT Services project methodology is promoted, developed, and adhered to, ensuring that all project staff are trained as required
- managing both the supply and demand aspects of resource planning for projects
- managing and mitigating cross-portfolio risks, dependencies and resourcing conflicts
The post holder will need to develop and maintain strong working relationships with programme teams, technical and support teams, and senior management in order to achieve these objectives.
