Ian Teasdale

The Director of Business Management is responsible for the governance and assurance surrounding the delivery of the IT portfolio. Under Ian's leadership, the Governance Team supports risk management, policy and the governance processes around the capital development fund, including IT Committee and the IT Boards. The Portfolio Management Office (PMO) supports project and programme delivery and provides oversight and management across the IT portfolio. The Service Management Office (SMO) supports service delivery and change, including the transition process from project to service, and the Information Management Team supports the efficient access, use and storage of information in support of the IT portfolio. The Communications Office supports all of IT Services to share and promote their news and services.

Ian has worked in central IT for Oxford University since 2008 managing support teams including the central Service Desk created in 2014. He previously worked in the commercial sector for a number of ‘blue chip’ organisations.
